In Ayurveda, yoga's sister science, the mother of all disease is a faulty digestive system. Even in Chinese nutrition, digestion is represented by the earth element, and it is said that the root cause of all illness stems from improper digestion. In this afternoon class, you will learn a few asana that enhance digestion and increase agni, the digestive fire, and how food combinations affect digestion. You will also explore:

- How to cultivate an enhanced digestive system using asana and pranayama
- The impact of psychology on digestion
- The power of probiotics
- The importance of the quality and sourcing of food
- What should be eaten based upon your individual constitution
- How food should be eaten
- When and how often you should eat
- Where is the best place to eat
